Yahoo! on browser support 14 February
There's a great little article from Nate Koechley over on the Yahoo! Developer Network about how they go about grading different browsers and which groups they choose to support with their sites and applications:
"...in modern web development we must support all browsers. Choosing to exclude a segment of users is inappropriate, and, with a “Graded Browser Support” strategy, unnecessary."

There are tools available nowadays for browser compatibility testing which can reveal the areas that are incompatible across browsers. infact when i have to fix BCT problems, i found http://www.essentiabct.com very useful tool.
