We've had a great response to CSSVista 9 November
I've just been looking through Technorati et al to get a feel for how people are responding to CSSVista. Word seems to be spreading fast, and lots of people have had great things to say about it. A little selection...
"Well if ever there was a useful web site design application CSSVista has to be one of THE most useful. [It] might not look like much to the uninitiated but to web site designers this is probably more useful than sliced bread. Really!" - The Bomb Site
"...you can fix all the little annoyances as you go instead of the ‘edit-save-preview-grumble-edit-save-preview-throw something’ cycle you may know all too well." - Blatherin' Blatherskites!
"OK, now this makes CSS a whole lot more fun! Something about being able to edit CSS live and on the fly just makes me all weak in the ankles." - Lockergnome
"Go grab yourself a copy and give it a whirl. I think this liitle application has some great potential! :)" - nathanpitman.com
"Here's a helluva useful webtool for us designers... pretty slick." - ForgetFoo
"CSSVista is one of the coolest free products I’ve come across in recent months." - Digital Media Minute
"Possible step towards resolving cross browser compatibilty issues for webpage designs? I think so." - Uneasy Silence
"No more switching back and forth when developing a site!" - Forty Something
CSSBeauty also linked to us, and we're currently second on the del.icio.us popular list! Thanks to everyone who has linked to, bookmarked and talked about CSSVista over the last couple of days.

congradulations paul :)
was just playing around in it and it really is rather spiffy... really puts some of the quirky rendering differences right in front of ya, which is neat.
thanks for posting this for free, btw.. very cool of ya, man.

I second foO's comment... great app for us developers. Thanks for it, and glad to see it gets the right attention.
Cheers!

I have used CSSVista for three days now (out of 10 years doing webdesign) and I can only just say that it's a major improvement to my design process. Thanks!!

It really makes CSS a lot more fun. And simplified version is closer to most of us)

Sería bueno que no sólo visualise el código CSS, sino que también permite editar, guardar y actualizar.
Traducido con google:
It would be good that not only visualise the code CSS, but that also allows to publish, to keep and to update.

Maybe I'm just being a bit thick, but I can't make it do anything. When I edit the stylesheet in the left window nothing happens to the rendered web pages. If I click the refresh button it reloads the css stored at the web site, ctrl-S does nothing, and there doesn't appear to be anything else to press. Are there any instructions for us thicko's

Hi Chris,
No you're not being stupid! Sorry you're having problems. It sounds a little like you're encountering a bug from 0.1. CSSVista 0.2 has been delayed quite a bit I'm afraid, it looks like we'll be launching the next version soon though, sorry i can't be more specific.
Your comment is quite interesting actually, when developing CSSVista the idea was to have it as simple as possible to use, with as few buttons and menus as possible, part of that was the auto-refreshing as-you-type of the browsers. But, as you say, if it doesn't work, it's very difficult to know if it is an error or if you're doing something wrong. It's certainly something we need to look into.
What site are you using it with? I can give it a go from here to see if it's a known bug or if you've discovered something new.
Thanks for your support!
Matt.
