A little gloat 4 November
We don't usually put down our competitors, and BrowserCam is a good service (we still have an account there, just to keep an eye on them), but I was quite proud of this achievement. They added Safari 2.0 testing yesterday, almost two months after we added it to SiteVista.
Come on John, you need to keep up! :-)

SiteVista looks very interesting. However the main feature I use with Browsercam is their remote log-in option, which allows me to VNC into any machine and check interaction as well as display. Any plans for doing something similar?

Andy: thanks for your interest. Regarding VNC access; no, that's not something we're actively developing at the moment. I think it's a really cool feature, but we've only had a couple of people mention it. It's a big feature to build, as you can imagine, so for the moment we're still pressing to get all the accessibility tests launched.
I wouldn't rule it out for the future, but it's not coming in the next six months or so.
(If I agree to build it, can I get a ticket to your sold-out d.Construct conference? :-)

I wouldnt be so quick to put your competitors down. I like Site Vista (I wouldn't be a member if I didn't) but fix your reliability issues and get a faster server before you start to proclaim your excellence in such a public way!

We're woking on making it more reliable all the time James. What do you mean about a faster server? Personally I find pages load pretty quick on this site - faster than lots of others. Perhaps it's a distance-related thing (this server is in Europe)?
